George S asks:
I’m having an argument with this noob at work – his name’s Tom L. He thinks that penguins are birds. Just wanted to confirm before I call him out on it.
Our experts answered
Penguins are birds for the following reasons:
They have feathers. Penguins lay eggs. Pengins have beaks and no teeth. It’s these characteristics that classify them as birds.
Some penguins have fur – but only those who can afford it.I don’t know the answer but that Tom does sound like a noob.
Neither. They’re chocolate biscuits, and jolly tasty ones at that!
